We are now recruiting for our multidisciplinary civil engineering client who is based in Chesham.
They cover four main sectors including: rail, civils, building and aviation.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis.
The office is based in Chesham.
Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Car driver required due to the office location.
Role to include but not limited to:
Time sheet collation
Project on boarding
Purchase order management
Raise all client applications and invoices.
Managing all sub-contractor’s administration / monthly wage reports / payslips
Ensure each office operational processes are working effectively.
Administration of financial processes including purchase and sales ledgers
Assisting the accountant with all monthly CIS and VAT submissions
Provide accurate information and input to financial control systems for reporting.
Organising meetings and managing databases
Managing and taking minutes when needed
Booking transport and accommodation for staff members
Organising company events
Day to day management of existing administration personnel
Provide full administration support to Directors.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience as an office administrator within a construction company
Confidence in fulfilling all the duties listed above.
Strong IT and communications skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships.
Experience working with a sub-contractor is desirable.
Knowledge of some of the following sectors is desirable: rail, civils, building and aviation.
Someone who is proactive and highly motivated.
