About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning (AC) Service Engineer to join a growing team. Working across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems, primarily across leisure parks, universities, and gyms.
This is a mobile role offering a company van, phone, and tools, with door-to-door travel paid and a structured call-out rota.
Key Responsibilities:Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of various AC systems (split, VRV/VRF, etc.)
Diagnose and repair system faults effectively and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service on-site
Complete service reports and relevant documentation
Maintain health and safety standards and adhere to company policies
Participate in a 1 in 8 call-out rota
Be available for standby duties (£125 per standby week)

Requirements:Proven experience in AC servicing and repair
F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential)
NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred Experience:Experience working on leisure facilities, university campuses, or fitness centres
Familiarity with multiple AC brands and systems
