EYFS Teaching Assistant Apprentice

Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum Support pre-planned learning/behaviour activities as directed by the teacher Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Provide individualised support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement learning activities Assist teachers in the implementation of appropriate behaviour management and teaching & learning strategies Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Establish rapport and respectful, trusting relationships and communicate effectively with children, their families and carers, and other agencies/professionals Work with colleagues and others to maintain health, safety and welfare within the working environment Safeguarding and Promoting the Welfare of Children/Young People

Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator at Stockton Riverside College Functional skills maths and English, if required

Training Outcome:

Potential for future employment opportunities within the school or wider education sector.
