Drylining Apprentice
Measuring and marking out wall positions
Installing a metal stud or timber framework to support plasterboard
Fixing boards to walls, ceilings, or partitions using screws or adhesive (dot and dab)
Fitting fire-resistant boards as required by building regulations.
Keeping work areas tidy and disposing of waste
Following health and safety procedures (e.g., correct PPE, manual handling)
Training:
The training will take place on-site and in college for 4 days a month.
Training Outcome:
The employer will offer the right candidate full-time employment once they have completed their apprenticeship.
