Apprentice Dental Nurse

List of some but not all daily tasks:

Provide chairside assistance to dentist/hygienist and patient Prepare/ mixing materials for the dentist Make sure the patient is comfortable and safe Sterilise instruments following infection control policies Maintaining the clinical environment as per infection control polices Following all practice polices and procedure at all times General admin and house keeping 

Training:

Dental Nurse (integrated) Level 3.

Course lessons - you'll enrol with TempDent and attend the course 2-hour lesson online each week.   

Training Outcome:
Progression on to specialist dental nursing  Hygiene/Hygiene Therapy  Treatment co-ordinator 

Employer Description:
Family friendly General Dental Practice - 2 Dentists and 1 Hygienist, 2 dental nurses and a Practice Manager.

Working Hours :
Full-time position. Expected hours: minimum of 30/35 per week. The practice is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm. Exact days and hours will be provided after the college confirms available course days and times.
