Apprentice Fabricator/Welder

• To learn to work with health and safety in mind at all times, ensuring that you follow process at all times and adhere to regulations on PPE and training
• To work with a variety of power tools, selecting the correct tool for the task each time
• Learning how to create welding joints using a comprehensive range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG and MMA (stick) welding
• Learning to understand and work from instructions in both written and diagram form to complete tasks
• Learning how to quality check own work upon completion



Training:

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our engineering campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only unless otherwise arranged.
