Early Years Assistant Apprentice
Supporting and supervising and providing particular welfare/personal/hygiene/medical/therapeutic support for children with SEN and ensuring their safety.
Assisting with promoting inclusion by establishing constructive relationships with children and interacting with them according to their individual needs and by assisting in the implementation of the nursery’s additional and different provision map. Encouraging children’s interactions and engagement with activities. Assisting with the development and implementation of individual education/behaviour plans and personal care programmes and providing specific support. Providing cover for members of staff, if required. Monitoring and recording children’s progress and reporting as required.Training:
This will take place at home, the workplace or Twickenham Training Centre.
This will be 6 hours per week.
Training Outcome:
Early Years Educator full-time position. Early Years Lead or Room Leader progression oportunities.
