L3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship
Contribute to good standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the nursery
To deliver the daily programme of early years activities and events and provide evaluations of activities To assist in the setting up and clearing away of all activities and equipment To actively encourage children’s progress in all areas of development, types and stages of play by interaction and extension of play activities To follow the observation and record keeping system and maintain the records for the pupils so that the children’s attainment and progress are effectively and regularly assessed To contribute to curriculum planning, policies and procedures and record keeping (e.g. daily register, accident and incident forms) as requested and led by the early tears leader Support staff and engage in a good staff team Completing assignments on time as part of your qualificationa as well as making sure off the job training is recorded. Attend University Academy Holbeach on a Monday during term time To provide adult interaction with the children in the nursery To respect the confidentiality of information recieved To attend team meetings and teaching sessions, make contributions and sharing ideas To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of the individual children fom differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to always uphold its standards.Training:
6 hours off the job training per week. L3 Early years Educator Apprenticeship. Training will take place at University Academy Holbeach one day per week.
Training Outcome:
There are opportunities for full-time employment following the completion of the apprenticeship programme
Employer Description:
We are a mixed age group setting, taking children from six weeks through to pre-school, with a focus on free flow learning and child led play. We are OFSTED rated good.
Working Hours :
30 hours per week - term time only - with maybe an option for hours during the holidays - as required.
