Role : Fire and Security Engineer Location : Leeds / Bradford

Our engineers specialise in Fire & Security, Commercial Gas, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Electrical covering the Retail Sector .
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible maintaining, and repairing Fire and Security systems in a well known supermarket chain.


Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repairs of fire alarms and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and other related equipment.
Security equipment in store such as electronic tag alarms, automated pedestrian gates and PA systems ( training provided )
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines during installation.
Inspections, and testing of fire and security systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, and implement necessary repairs or upgrades.
Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide recommendations for customised solutions.
Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.
Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
Generate reports, documentation, and system diagrams as required.
Respond to emergency service calls and address critical issues promptly.
Coordinate with emergency services, when necessary, to ensure client safety.


Desirable but not required Qualifications

FIA Qualified
Electrical qualification
BAFE qualified
BS 5839- Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings
Any other relevant industry qualifications
