We’re looking for a tenacious, inquisitive, capable Account Manager to join a friendly, hard-working team based in central Birmingham.
You’ll work principally with a base of valued corporate and business-to-business clients, unearthing stories and crafting features, case studies, press releases and social media content.
Ideally you will have a minimum of three-four years' experience in Public Relations or a closely related field and have successfully dealt with all aspects of a communications or engagement campaign/project, having driven it forward and ensuring its delivery.
It's important that you possess the skills to sensitively deal with both clients and journalists to negotiate quality positive coverage that helps achieve agreed objectives.
An interest in and understanding of local and national politics and current affairs is advantageous.
Strong spoken and written communication skills, with good presentation, consultation and negotiation skills are key.
