Level 4 Sports Coach Apprentice
Delivering a range of PE sessions, after / before school clubs, lunch clubs and half term camps at schools
Working closely with the Operations Manager to develop as a sports coach
Training:
You will be designing, delivering, and leading high-quality coaching programmes across schools, community settings, or performance environments. Whether you're working with grassroots participants or developing young talent, this apprenticeship will help you refine your coaching philosophy, build strong relationships, and make a lasting impact through evidence-based practice and reflective learning.
What you’ll learn:
Advanced coaching techniques and session planning How to adapt coaching to different groups, ages, and abilities Safeguarding, health and wellbeing Building a coaching philosophy and understanding performance psychology Effective communication and behavioural management Data and impact evaluation Leading and mentoring other coachesDelivery: The programme is flexible and blends theory with on-the-ground practice, built to fit around your coaching role. You'll get regular one-to-one support, progress reviews every 10 - 12 weeks, and interactive workshops throughout the course.
Training Outcome:
Working closely with management to grow into a full time apprentice, our last 3 apprentices who enrolled in Sept are now full time coaches.

Working Hours :
Working hours will be a mix of Monday - Friday to cover breakfast clubs, afterschool clubs, holiday clubs, exact days and times to be arranged at interview.
