Events Assistant Apprentice

Using University IT systems, enter data to relevant databases, ensuring information is checked for errors Provide basic administration support such as filing, filling envelopes, mailing out, photocopying, scanning forms Collation of packs for internal and external distribution following basic instruction Receiving telephone calls/emails and issuing standard guidance, responding to basic queries and taking messages within prescribed standards Prioritise work to ensure essential work is completed at correct intervals e.g. preparing for meetings and functions Send calendar invites as required and book refreshments for colleagues and visitors Arrange meetings as directed for colleagues and visitors Liaise with visitors and divisional colleagues to receive and pass on information in a courteous manner Make basic decisions regarding work order and daily requirements Solve basic problems that occur on a daily/regular basis, using pre prepared responses or material Undertake internal training as required

Event Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard 

Training Outcome:
Whilst a permanent role cannot be guaranteed the majority of apprentices gain open ended employment

Monday- Friday 9.00am- 5.00pm May work evenings and weekends
