Administrative Apprentice
Using University IT systems, enter data into relevant databases, ensuring information is checked for errors against source data.
Provide basic administration support such as filing, filling envelopes, mailing out, photocopying, and scanning forms.
Co-operate with and provide basic support to colleagues to contribute towards work objectives.
Providing cover in reception areas and/or greeting and providing guidance to visitors and giving and receiving basic information.
Prioritise daily work to ensure essential work is completed in time and to appropriate standards.
Follow established ordering and monitoring procedures to ensure adequate stocks of consumables are maintained.
Liaise with visitors and colleagues to receive and pass on information in a courteous manner
Solve basic problems that occur on a daily/regular basis, using pre-prepared responses or material.
Undertake internal training as required.
Training Outcome:
Whilst a permanent role cannot be guaranteed the majority of apprentices gain open ended employment.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
