Electrical Apprentice

We also carry out some domestic works and have electrical inspection and testing contracts with the MOD for the next 5 years.

Key responsibilities:

Would be working with others on various contracts throughout the apprenticeship

Carrying out for the following:

Electrical testing Repair remedials works New installations and refurbishments of commercial and domestic installations

We are a small family company of approximately 12 employees split between Plumbing, Gas, Administration, and Electrical.

Training:
Training will take place 1 day a week at Basingstoke College of Technology and the remaining time will be on site A series of practical and theory assessments throughout the qualification Starting from our office, you will be teamed up with an employee with a van. Occasionally you may be asked to go directly to the site. Any mileage will be covered for work apart from travelling to the office. This will be paid per mile

Training Outcome:
Upon completion of this apprenticeship, you will be a qualified electrician

Working Hours :
Employees meet at our office at 7 am each day unless starting directly on a site. Finish time is 4 pm with a one-hour lunch break. 8 hours a day paid. 5 days a week. Over time is extra.
