Apprentice Bench Joinery Operative

The Apprentice Bench Joiner will be based in our workshop in Mansfield and the successful candidates main duties will include:

Working alongside senior Joiners to develop joinery skills including the use of hand and power tools Manufacturing shop fitting items such as doors, door frames & architraves, carcass units, trash bins, toilet ducts & panels, shelving and shop counters Working with various hardwoods & softwoods, MDF, laminates and solid surfaces General workshop and yard housekeeping including emptying dust extractor

Training:
This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Construction Campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession You will experience a blended learning model

Training Outcome:
This company are committed to continuous personal development and to maintaining your skills They will do this using a variety of training methods which may include apprenticeships at higher levels

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday, 08:00 - 15:30. 30 mins for lunch.
