General Office Apprentice

Covering reception – welcoming clients in person and over the phone, and directing queries to the appropriate team members Managing the meeting room booking system Keeping the reception area clean, presentable, and professional at all times Preparing meeting rooms with the required stationery, drinks, and seating arrangements, and ensuring rooms are cleared and reset after use Monitoring and restocking supplies such as paper and stationery in work areas Handling incoming post, scanning, and forwarding it to the relevant departments Organising and arranging outgoing post, including special and recorded deliveries Carrying out photocopying, scanning, and printing as needed Retrieving documents from storage, both internally and via external providers Assisting with ordering stationery and managing stock levels of office supplies

Training:

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration consisting of:

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable) Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)

You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. Additional off the job training will also be required as part of the Apprenticeship. There will also be an end point assessment. 



Training Outcome:

After the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to advance in the workplace or go on to higher education.
