Audiovisual Technician Apprentice

Work alongside a team of on-site supervisors & engineers learning how to Install, terminate & Test AV cabling Learning how to install a range of audio-visual equipment (screens, projectors, LED walls, microphones, speakers, cameras etc.) to different finishes (plasterboard, concrete, joinery etc). You will learn which different fixings to use with each surface material Assist the on-site team with taking in of deliveries and moving equipment & materials around the site Assist the on-site team with paperwork for example Asset registers, cable schedules, AVIT Schedules, test sheets Laptops will be provided for these tasks Ensure on-site work areas and storage areas are kept clean, tidy and safe You will be taught how to read & install to both Schematic/Wiring drawings & M&E drawings. These are essential to ensure we install as per our client's design

Online day release Audiovisual level 5 apprenticeship

Training Outcome:

Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.



Employer Description:
We are a small business who are working on behalf of much larger Integrators. We will be installing projects for some of the largest business in the world. It is therefore incredibly important that the successful candidate is able to be well presented and well mannered in client facing situations.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm Any overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 hours per hour. Saturdays paid at 1.5 hours. Sundays at 2.0 hours.
