Apprentice Logistics Co-Ordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination of airfreight import shipments from origin to destination. Support the preparation and processing of import documentation, including airway bills, invoices, and customs entries. Communicate with airlines, handling agents, and customs authorities. Track and trace shipments, updating internal systems and customers accordingly. Learn to resolve delays or issues with shipments in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Provide administrative support to the import team as needed. Participate in training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship program.

Training:

The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed subject for the vacancy. This may include a BTEC Diploma/Standard and End-Point Assessment. It may also include Functional Skills in maths and English.

The apprentice at the end of this qualification will achieve a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.

This is an on the job training position which will be carried out in an office environment , led by experienced mentors and colleagues.
