Apprentice Finance Assistant

We’re looking for an Apprentice Finance Assistant, to join our established team, where you’ll gain hands on experience in all activities involved in running a public sector finance department.

All whilst studying to achieve the Level 2 AAT qualification.

As an Apprentice Finance Assistant, you’ll support on activities:

Entering of approved purchase orders and creation of invoices onto the Access accounting system Matching purchase orders to invoices on the accounting system Providing administrative support to the Finance team Dealing with any financial and supplier enquiries and responding, as necessary Assisting in purchase ledger administration that supports Arc activity Create new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger Create of Arc Construction Services Projects within the Access accounting system Enter of approved purchase orders and creation of invoices onto the Access accounting system Deal with any financial and supplier enquiries, responding, as necessary Assist with other administrative duties relevant to the role, as directed including general support to Arc Partnership

​You’ll also support your manager in cross functional projects, ensuring you help to develop and maintain relationships with internal clients and ensure work is delivered to a high standard. The role means you’ll need to adhere to, and uphold company policy and procedure, by providing advice and guidance to the wider business.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm Evening and weekend working may be required on a very occasional basis.
