Apprentice Payroll Assistant

Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly and weekly payroll for three companies Maintain accurate employee records, including changes to hours, pay, holidays, and benefits Process starters, leavers, and payroll amendments Produce and submit pension reports Support the submission of required information to HMRC Respond to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner Help prepare payroll reports and summaries Provide general administrative support to the payroll function

Training:

We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our designated training site/campus. These workshops are carefully designed to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship programme.

You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.



Training Outcome:

This role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop practical experience in payroll and finance administration. As Payroll Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll work as part of a supportive team.
