Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Apprentice (Level 3 Engineering)

Study towards achieving a recognised qualification in Maintenance and Operations Engineering Follow an on-the-job training programme which will provide effective time with multiple departments across the facility Identify a project that will enhance plant performance, improve efficiency of a process or reliability of equipment, or improve health & safety

As you progress through your apprenticeship, you will assist the Rookery South O&M teams with the operational priorities of a state-of-the-art modern Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) which is capable of processing up to 675,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, whilst generating and exporting electrical energy onto the National Grid.

You will develop your knowledge and skills on the ERF technical processes, operate systems using world class technology, and develop a detailed understanding of the interconnected electro-mechanical plant and a focus on plant performance, availability and reliability.



Training:

Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3.

Apprentices attend Loughborough College 1-day per week, during term time where you will study set units that map directly into your apprenticeship.
