Business Admin Apprentice
Taking jobs from customers by phone and email and dealing with their enquiries.
Arranging jobs, assigning them to photographers and creating job sheets.
Archiving incoming images from staff and freelance photographers to our in-house server and cloud backups.
Checking e-newspapers daily for our published images and archiving the cuttings.
Updating Facebook and other social media with our latest published images.
Digitising our archive of analogue images using our scanner.
Occasionally assisting photographers on location.
Trainee photographer: accompanying photographers on assignments.
Assisting in new projects.
Training:
Business Admin Level 3.
One college day each month.
An assessor will visit the apprentice every 6 weeks or do online sessions.
Training Outcome:
Potential full-time role as a Photographer or full-time Admin.
Employer Description:
To assist in the day-to-day running of the agency including managing the diary, assigning jobs to photographers, archiving images and updating social media. Helping monitor news feeds for potential news stories for our photographers to cover Assisting in new projects including the digitisation of our library of jobs on film (1986 to 2004) and relaunching our gallery.
Working Hours :
30 Hours Per Week. Monday - Friday (possibly some weekends). Times to be confirmed.
