Civil Engineering Technician Apprentice
Learning all aspects of Civil Engineering
Learning to use different types of equipment.
Assisting with on-site work such as land surveying and topographical surveys
Attending site visits
Assisting with project plans, technical information and designs for projects
Interpreting drawings and making calculations
Using computer software programmes for drawings (CAD)
Assisting with reports and projects
Attending meetings with clients
Liaising with various teams within the business, as required
Assisting with all associated paperwork
Training:
For the full apprenticeship, candidates will complete:
Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard Level 2 Award in Functional Skills mathematics Level 2 Award in Functional Skills English End Point Assessment (EPA)- leading to EngTech qualification with the ICE for successful candidatesFor the End Point Assessment (EPA) apprentices will undertake a technical project report and discussion, and a professional discussion underpinned by the portfolio.
Apprentices must attend college sessions one day per week at the Ipswich Road campus, located near Norwich city centre.
Training Outcome:
A position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the apprenticeship. The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a position following their apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm. 1 hour paid lunch.
