Maintenance Mechanical/Electro Apprenticeship
Key roles & responsibilities:
Assisting experienced engineers with routine tasks such as assembling/ testing, and repairing equipment. Execution of reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance Conducting inspections, testing, adjustments, periodic cleaning, and monitoring tasks as required to maintain efficient plant and improve equipment reliability. Co-operating and collaborating with other team members to continually drive our proactive engineering program and report back reliability issues within the plant. Adherence to organisation policies and Site EHS requirements. Learning to operate machinery and tools safely. Following drawings and schematics. Learning and using a mix of skills such as fabricating, machining, plumbing and other engineering skills necessary to support a fast-paced manufacturing demand.Training:
The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (Mechanical / Electro). A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course. This is a predominantly work-based programme with College attendance required once a month. All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours.
Training Outcome:
After the successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the potential to progress to a Level 4 apprenticeship and/or full-time employment.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00. Friday, 07:30 - 12:30. Some overtime may be required.
