Supporting Children’s Learning and Development
Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of young children.
Maintaining a Safe and Clean Environment
Help ensure the setting is clean, secure, and organised, following health and safety guidelines to protect children at all times.
Building Positive Relationships
Support positive interactions with children, parents, and colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.
Observing and Recording Progress
Observe children’s behaviour and development, contributing to records and assessments that track their progress and support individual learning needs.
Supporting Daily Routines
Assist with routines such as mealtimes, toileting, dressing, and nap times, promoting independence and good hygiene practices.
Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Standard.
20% off-the-job training.
Tutor support via online platform.
Training Outcome:
Permanent position considered on completion of the apprenticeship.
Higher qualifications in early years available.
