In house manufacture of components using manual and CNC lathes and mills
Component part inspection
Assembling and testing valves to ensure they meet the right quality standards before delivery to customers
Covering all areas of the company to learn the process from start to finish
Training:
Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
Apprenticeship training will be overseen by the college including 1 day a week mandatory college attendance Factory based training will be overseen by departmental team leaders as you move around the company (there is 1 person in charge of the overall apprentice programme) The machining centre is based on Woolsbridge Industrial Estate, stores/office and assembly & test are based on Kingfisher Park in West MoorsTraining Outcome:
Once qualified there is a high demand for manual machinists, CNC operators/setters/programmers and inspectors We like to retain our apprentices and promote them within the company

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 1pm (college Friday may be longer) there is some flexibility to these times.
