Undertake supervised plumbing work and support a fully qualified plumber to carry out relevant tasks Use authorised plant and equipment provided with due care and attention and as supervised Carry out basic trade instructions, read and interpret drawings as required

Training:

Most of the training will take place at work under the supervision of a qualified plumber with time also spent with a local college/training provider developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours for the plumbing apprenticeship standard. 



Training Outcome:

While there is no guarantee of a permanent job with the City Council at the end of this apprenticeship, we have a good record of retaining apprentices. Apprentices will be qualified plumbers and well-placed to gain employment elsewhere.

Working Hours :
Apprentices will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is fixed term contract, lasting up to 48 months for the duration of the practical training plus up to 6 months for the end-point assessment period.
