Robot Programmer Engineering Apprenticeship

Support set up and calibration of robotic systems Use a combination of hand tools, forklift trucks and lifting equipment Learn to troubleshoot and maintain robot systems under supervision Collaborate with engineers & technicians to ensure smooth operation of all automated systems Document programming changes and issues encountered Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or urgent repairs to minimise operational disruptions Work with external contractors for specialised repairs or inspections Preparing and using MIG manual & semi-automatic welding equipment Carry out continuous improvement activities Participate in training sessions, workshops and certifications as part of apprenticeship Comply with quality environmental standards procedures and instructions

Training:
Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be an opportunity to become a Robot programmer in the weld cell team

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.00pm and 7.30am - 12 midday on Friday.
