We are looking for an enthusiastic electrical engineer degree apprentice to join our team, specialising in electrical engineering for our European technical organisation in Darlington. During your apprenticeship with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Understanding existing electrical systems to allow detailed fault finding and troubleshooting In-depth electrical knowledge to allow design of new circuits and systems Understanding of PLC and logic systems to allow the design of in-house control systems Responsible person on site for all electrical safety work Project management in undertaking engineering activities Producing and working on engineering specifications and briefs, presenting and technical problem solving.To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades 9 to 4 (Grades A* to C) including Mathematics, English Language and one Science or Engineering subject Minimum of 96 UCAS points at Level 3 must include Mathematics. STEM subjects preferred Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Science, but not mandatory Other Level 3 STEM qualifications may be considered. Vocational equivalents at level 3 or higher will also be considered as equivalent to UCAS points Functional Skills Level 2 will also be considered equivalent to GCSE Grade 4 (Grade C). Other equivalent qualifications may be considered Self-motivated, thirst for knowledge Flexible approach to working whilst being conscientiousTraining:

Working Hours :
During the apprenticeship you will work 5 days per week, inclusive of 1 day per week for study at Teesside university the working hours TBC but are 37.5 hours per week for this apprenticeship.
