Apprentice Equine Groom (Pickering Grange Equestrian)

Yard duties will include:

Turning out and bringing in Mucking out Feeding, watering and haying Grooming Clipping and trimming Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard at all times Bandaging Tacking up Lunging/long rein Riding Assisting with events Field maintenance The right candidate would have an opportunity to go and groom for Rachel (owner) at one of her events

Training:
Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship

Training Outcome:
Progression onto level 3 for the right candidate

Working Hours :
30-40 hours per week, to be discussed at interview.
