QC Technician Apprentice
Carrying out the analysis of intermediate and finished products, including tests such as specific gravity, refractive index, flash point, bulk density or moisture content.
Interpreting results of analysis and recording data.
Handling the booking of goods-in raw materials.
Use of in-house spreadsheets and databases.
Issuing documentation for products: certificates of analysis, specifications, safety data sheets, etc.
Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Ensuring the QC laboratory is well organised, and samples are stored according to their specification guidance.
Applying expertise and a systematic approach to problem solving.
Training:
Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship Standard qualification, including:
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours. End-Point Assessment.Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full-time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

JPL are currently in the process of building a £6m state of the art premises in Bromborough located on Bassendale road which includes state of the art laboratories and a virtual reality suite for customer experiences.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, or 8:30am to 4:30pm.
