Legal Officer - Childcare

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting alongside a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area, who are looking for a Legal Officer to join their Child Care Legal Team.

For the Legal Officer Position it will mainly be remote working, occasionally attending office.
ROLE: Legal Officer Childcare RATE: £16-£23ph BASED: Manchester OFFICE: Hybrid – 3 month on going
The Role/ Responsibilities

To provide legal advice and assistance and undertake legal casework under supervision of solicitors arising mainly in relation to Social Services issues withing childcare.
To provide administrative support as required
To provide a full range of professional legal advice and services to the Council and its various client department.


The Person

A law-related qualification (LPC / LLM / LLB) would be required for this position.
Experience within Childcare Law is needed, Ideally someone who has worked within the public sector but this is not essential.
Great communication skills, written and oral also being Prompt, organised and efficient.
