JavaScript Game Developer

We are currently working with one of the UK’s largest iGaming companies based in Burton who are looking for a JavaScript Game Developer.BENEFITS: up to £35k, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off, plus the opportunity to buy or sell extra days, employee discounts on holidays, days out and retail, social events, annual bonuses, pension, stock purchase plans and flexible working with 4 days per week working from home, or remote if further afieldWe are currently recruiting a mid-level JavaScript Game Developer to join a cross-functional team developing high-quality games across their retail platforms.You will be producing functional and operable code working alongside other departments to produce and deliver high-quality, graphically rich games for mobiles and web.

We are looking for someone who has commercial experience with JavaScript (ES6) and ideally PixiJS.

If you have come from a gaming background, amazing, but again this isn't essential.The company are adopting a hybrid working pattern and offering 4 days of work from home however fully remote working is available for the right person.

The office is in the centre of Burton, close to public transport links and also offers ample parking.Key Requirements

At least a years of previous experience in development with JavaScript and strong with ES6
Knowledge of HTML5
Source control experience (ideally with Git or SVN)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

Knowledge or experience with games engines (either Pixi or Phaser)
Knowledge of NodeJS
Previous experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with Pair Programming & Code Reviews
Relevant qualification (degree)
