Facilities Manager - FM Provider - South Lanarkshire area Package circa 50K Are you a Facilities Manager looking for a fresh challenge? Would you like to look after a highly regarded contract in the South Lanarkshire area? CBW are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading FM service provider who are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager to join their existing team.

The Facilities Manager (FM) will be directly responsible for the supply of facilities services across the building, covering all hard services.

Key duties & Responsibilities:Understand the Client’s objective and instructions in relation to the building. Assist in client reporting on on-site Facilities Management.Be directly responsible for site-based employees and their assessment, training and development. Regularly liaise with occupiers and be the principal point of contact for advice and guidance in connection with the day-to-day physical operation of the building.Assist the Property Management team in the financial management of the property.Establish and maintain high quality health and safety arrangements, in accordance with best practice guidelines.Ensure all risks identified are properly addressed as part of the companies audit process and compliance inspections.Ensure reactive maintenance and day-to-day service requirements undertaken in a timely and cost-effective manner.Have a sound understanding of all hard services.Ensure maintenance contracts are in place to cover O&M manual requirements.Prepare site regulations and issue permits to work for all contractor activities on siteDevelop and maintain occupier handbooks as per defined standard for each siteEstablish a regular inspection programme for each site in accordance with site insurance and regulatory requirementsHour of workMonday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pmRequirementsProven track record in Facilities Management.Experience managing hard services in a commercial building. Commercial awareness and ability to develop identified business improvement opportunitiesIOSHStrong organisation skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Have competent knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements, technical facilities and vendor management for specialised services.Package:Salary circa 43K plus car allowancePrivate Healthcare 33 days holidayExcellent pension contributions
