The Role:

The ideal candidate will be working as a BIM Technician / Structural Technician in Hemel Hempstead.

you will lead the Building Information Modelling (BIM) team, driving design innovation and practical solutions using digital technology.

Responsibilities:

? Create accurate technical engineering drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
? Participate in technical meetings and provide input on project technical aspects.
? Work with stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets standards.
? Manage tasks independently, showing self-motivation and initiative.
? Identify training needs for junior staff and support their development.
? Contribute to marketing strategies and internal process improvement.
? Report to the project director and enhance the companys reputation.
? Supervise junior staff workload and assist senior staff.
? Help with fee proposal preparation and time estimation.
? Stay proactive and responsive to critical issues.
? Explore innovative design approaches.


Requirements:

? Previous experience working as a BIM technician / Structural Technician/ Revit Technician or in a similar role.
? Demonstrable expertise in engineering context, CAD, & 3D modelling.
? Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM application.
? Experience in developing project CAD & BIM procedures.
? Commercial awareness for cost-effective design solutions.
? HNC/HND in civil/structural engineering preferred.
? Awareness of UK Industry BIM standards.
? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
