We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Airport Customer Service Agent.
As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all passengers and visitors at Bristol Airport.
You will be responsible for assisting travellers, addressing their inquiries, providing information, and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a strong customer-centric approach, will be essential in delivering outstanding service to all airport stakeholders.
Hourly Rate of £11.04.
Temporary Position with the opportunity for this to become permanent after 12 weeks of employment through Mego Employment Ltd.
Greet passengers and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanour, always creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Assisting passengers through security and helping with bags
Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding flight schedules, gate assignments, baggage handling, airport facilities, and other relevant inquiries.
Assist passengers with check-in procedures, boarding processes, and connecting flights, ensuring a smooth and seamless journey.
Assist passengers with lost or damaged luggage, coordinating with baggage services and tracking systems to ensure swift resolution.
Conduct security and identification checks according to airport regulations and procedures.
Provide special assistance to passengers with disabilities, elderly passengers, unaccompanied minors, and other individuals requiring extra support.
Stay updated on relevant airport policies, procedures, and safety regulations, always ensuring compliance.
Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of airline industry practices, customer service techniques, and emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, incidents, and feedback.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and effectively communicate with diverse individuals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle difficult situations calmly and efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards as per airport guidelines.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
