Communications Lead

My client, an innovative, privately owned pharmaceutical services business, has a requirement for a Communication Lead to join their team in Surrey on a permanent basis.
The Communications Lead will be responsible for leading all aspects of the business communications activities including marketing and branding.
As Communications Lead, you will:

Ownership of all copywriting and management of content material – scoping the content development strategy
Maintenance and the continual design and content development of website
Ensure the sales team are supported with marketing materials and delivering external materials.
Management of a comprehensive social media content program across all channels - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Collaboration with sector media partners to increase brand exposure.
Reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns for competitor and market trend analysis
Being the guardian of the brand ensuring that the logo and tag lines are being used in a correct manner.
Review all materials for scientific accuracy, referencing and annotations.

To be considered for the Communications Lead position, you will have a strong background with experience of managing multiple marketing/communications projects.
Essential Experience required:

Commercially astute
Experience of managing agencies and stakeholders expectations
Proven experience with content writing.
Proficient with WordPress (both back-end and front-end development tasks)
Excellent communication skills both oral, written & presentations.
Excellent negotiation and networking skills
Proven track record of driving change
Managing and setting marketing budgets
Excellent written and communication skills, and experience in scientific writing, to exchange complex information with others in complex situations.

The preferred candidate will come from the following sector/ background:

Pharmaceutical Industry experience
Experience in similar comms roles within a regulated sector
Experience in medical communications and/or publications

This is a permanent position, hybrid working but with an initial 3 month on site technical training on site in Surrey.

Salary dependent on experience.
