Contentious Probate Solicitor

Leading, local law firm looking to recruit a Contentious Probate Solicitor into their Penrith offices.

Our client is a well-established, full-service legal practice that offers their staff excellent training and development opportunities, a competitive salary for the area and a generous bonus scheme.

As a Contentious Probate Solicitor, your duties may include:


Handling a caseload of contentious probate matters, including will disputes, inheritance claims, and related disputes.
Providing legal advice and representation to clients throughout the entire litigation process.
Conducting legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
Attending court hearings and advocate on behalf of clients.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and offering exceptional client care
Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.


The successful candidate will ideally have 2+ years’ PQE, has previous experience with handling Contentious cases, shows excellent initiative, knowledge of Private Client law and client care skills and is able to work well as both part of a team and individually.
