Multi Skilled Engineer

The role is working Monday to Friday (Double Days – 6-2/2-10).

This multi-site company is the UK’s 2nd largest fresh food manufacturer with a variety of sites throughout the UK.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineer:

Dealing with both reactive and preventive maintenance across the whole of the site.
Within the department you will work closely with other multi skilled individuals.
Be able to trace faults from the root cause analysis through to rectifying in full to reduce downtime of the production machinery.
Accurately complete preventative maintenance in line with site PPM Schedules and the company’s PPM system.
Understand and interpret both electrical and mechanical breakdowns promptly.


I would be interested to see CVs from candidates who have:

One of the following qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 (Apprenticeship) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in working with food production machinery such as conveyors, check weighers, metal detectors, packaging machinery etc.
Working in one of the following manufacturing industries; Food, Drink, FMCG or Packaging.
Previously working as Multi Skilled Engineer, Shift Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Technician etc.
