Band 6 Mental Health Nurse

Band 6 Mental Health Nurse required for community service line based in Ipswich, working with older adults in the community.
Full time role 37.5 hours per week.
£27 ltd per hour.
Skills/Qualifications needed: Collaborative care planning skills and experience of applying Recovery Model.• Experience of conducting holistic risk assessments.• Experience of developing Safety Plans.• Understanding frailty and comorbidities in older adults.

• Being able to work as a part of multi-disciplinary team and multi-agency team.• Able to effectively prioritise own workload and use team resources effectively.Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, mental health nurses, psychologist, social workers, assistant practitioners, support worker and peer support worker.

The team provides support to 160 older adults with functional and organic illnesses who live in their own homes, residential homes or nursing homes.Team is based a short walking distance from local amenities and the train station.

The central location of the office, small geographical area we cover, and the nature of our work give us lots of flexibility.

Due to convenient location, opportunity to walk or to cycle for some visits.
Hybrid working may be available; the MDT meetings, telephone contacts and administration work can be completed remotely but office attendance is required to cover a duty work and face to face appointments for the service users who require it.
We also have £250 referral fee bonus for any nurse you refer who we place in to work on a 3 month contract.
