CNC Machinist
Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in Wigan.
Job Role:
Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling centres to manufacture bespoke, low-volume components. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D CAD files to determine optimal manufacturing techniques. Using offline CAD-CAM software to create tool paths and machining instructions. Running CNC Millers with Heidenhain controls to achieve maximum efficiency in batch production.
Job Details:
Pay: £39,000 - £44,000 per annumHours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 12:00pmDuration: PermanentOvertime Rules: Plenty of overtime available, paid at x1.5Benefits: Onsite parking, clean working environment, modern CNC machineryEssential Skills & Experience:
Programming and operating milling machines with Heidenhain controlsPrevious experience of machining first off samplesOffline programming experienceDesired Skills & Experience:
Experience working for a low volume batch manufacturer or precision engineerExperience working with exotic materialsEssential Qualifications:
