CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building located in West London.

The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance.Hours of work4 on 4 off 7-7 days only  RequirementsCity & Guilds / NVQ in MechanicalYou must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)A proven track record in commercial building maintenanceAn understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling unitsMulti-skilledGood communication skillsExcellent customer skillsDuties   Mechanical duties  Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testingAHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleansPumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosingWater pressurization unitsChlorifiers – annual inspection, de-scalingSteam PlantCondensers, Condenser ReturnsCooling towersSoftenersHumidifiersHydraulicsPneumaticsBoilers – re-setsChillers – re-sets, 1st Line faultsPlease send your CV to ben.miller@cbwstaffingsolutions.com
