Maintenance Technician - Heathrow

Reporting to the Airport Service Manager, you will be joining our Customer Support in the UK.
In Customer Support we take care of everything related to our installed base; from Hotline support and spare parts to residential service and maintenance.
You will be part of the maintenance team in T4 in Heathrow who are responsible for all service and maintenance on the system.
Your tasks will include
? Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on the system
? Perform electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting in planned as well as reactive environments
? Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales
? Identify problematic faults and rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis
? Perform systems analysis on various systems, including, S7 PLC, Profibus, ASibus, EtherCat etc.
? Support existing site based BEUMER Group Customer Support colleagues

To succeed in the role you need have a customer-focused mindset, as your most important role is to make sure that the system is running smoothly.
We imagine that you have a proactive attitude and are capable of meeting targets and tight deadlines and are capable of self-learning with supporting documentation.
Moreover, we imagine that:
? You hold an ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
? You hold some experience from a similar role, preferably within sortation and distribution
? You have knowledge of Emergency Stop Systems and Safety Supervision Systems
? You have excellent communication skills and solid IT skills, primarily with Microsoft Office applications
