Welder Fabricator

A contractor specialising in steel fabrication is seeking a Welder Fabricator for short-term work in Basildon, Essex.

Rate: £22.00 an hour CIS
Start Date: Wednesday, 11th June
Work Arrangement: Contract
Duration: 2–3 weeks
Work Hours: 6am to 4pm (flexible to 7am start) – 10 hours paid per day

Key Responsibilities
• MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel components.
• Drawing Interpretation: Work from technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Material Handling: Manage materials and tools effectively on-site.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications
• Experience: Proven experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
