Social Workers

A Sussex-based Local Authority is looking for Social Worker to join their Children's Safeguarding Team based in Worthing.

This is a full time, permanent postition.


As the ideal Social Worker will need experience within an Children's social work service and 2 years post qualified experience.
This authority offers small practice teams of Social Workers managed by a Team Manager and supported by Child & Family Workers as well as additional flexible administrative support from Coordinators embedded within the service.
They provide regular group supervision and peer learning alongside specialist roles within the team to focus on the most vulnerable children.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

Undertake direct work with Children
Long term children protection intervention
Be able to evidence an understanding of a the child’s lived experience
Strong links with partners to ensure the right service is provided

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid registration with Social Work England
Significant experience of working within Children and Families Teams
Experience of working within a children's social work team / service
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: West Sussex (Worthing)
Salary: up to £53,000 per annum
