We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our clients team based in beautiful Gwent Wales.

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.

This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, surfaces, and furniture.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenish supplies as needed.
Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including break rooms, meeting rooms, and corridors.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces as necessary.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent cleanliness standards.
Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately to prevent accidents or hazards.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping, preferably in a professional setting.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate cleaning equipment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when required.
