THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working closely with a highly reputable Top Law Firm who is looking for an experienced Financial Controller.
As the Financial Controller, you’ll be working in partnership with the Finance Director who will closely mentor you to enable you to continually develop your career.

The role includes leading a team of Legal Cashiers, producing Management Accounts, Creating Cashflow Forecasts, Budget Management, Budget Variance Analysis and Overseeing Year End Accounts.

THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:

Working closely with the Finance Director who will mentor and support you to enhance your career with the firm.
Leading and developing a team of Legal Cashiers to ensure that work is produce to a high standard.
Preparing the Management Accounts to a high standard in advance of the board meetings
Producing detail financial reporting and business reports
Detailed analysis of budgets, spend and variance.
Producing accurate cash flow forecasts
KPI reporting, identifying business trends and making recommendations.
Overseeing Statutory accounts
Working collaboratively with External Accountants on audits

THE PERSON:

Must have experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, such as; Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant of Head of Finance
ACCA, ACA, OR CIMA qualified
High Grades at School / College / University is essential
Experience within a Law Firm / Legal Firm or within a professional services firm would be a significant advantage, but is not essential.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is essential.
A driven individual who is keen to grow with a rapidly expanding firm
