Locations: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

Salary: £11ph - £18ph + Overtime rates + Benefits

40 hours working week, 08.00 - 16.30 hours, half an hour unpaid lunch break

Our client is a well established JCB franchise, offering machinery sales and excellent product support.

They are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

You will conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on JCB machinery.



Responsibilities:

? Build strong customer relationships
? Gather and document knowledge about the customers technical operations
? Promote the organisation and JCB brand to new and existing customers
? Offer aftermarket products and services to customers
? Respond promptly and efficiently to customer needs
? Perform repairs to ensure a "First Time Fix"
? Utilise laptop computer technical diagnostics skills
? Present a professional image at all times
? Adhere to health and safety policies
? Meet customer expectations while maintaining profitability


Requirements:

? Previous experience in similar role
? NVQ 2 in plant engineering, servicing, and maintenance
? Knowledge of the JCB Plant industry or similar
? Experience in hydraulic systems, axles, transmissions, and cam-bus electrical systems
? Strong technical JCB product knowledge
? Portfolio of relevant certifications
? Clean driving license and right to work in the UK


Call out payments:

? Normal working week: £50.00
? Bank holiday working week: £75.00
? Christmas period: £100.00



Call out hours worked:

? First 4 hours: Time and a half rate
? Over and above first 4 hours: Double time rate



Rota system frequency varies per depot and will be discussed with the relevant Depot Manager during the interview process.
