Property Lawyer

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority who are recruiting for a Property Lawyer in the Surrey region.

ROLE: Commercial Property LawyerLOCATION: Surrey / hybrid workingCONTRACT: 3 months ongoing contractRATE: £45.00 to £55.00 per hour
The Role

To manage and progress a full caseload of complex Property Law matters through to completion
Matters will include acquisitions and disposals, right to buy transactions, preparing reports on title and carrying out searches
To negotiate, draft and complete all types of agreements of sale, leases, licences, easements, wayleaves and Deeds of variation
Dealing with registration of transactions at the Land Registry and the registration and removal of title restrictions

The Person

A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
Experience of managing full caseloads of predominantly commercial property matters through to completion
Previous experience of working within a local authority would be highly beneficial for this position
Experience of progressing commercial leases would be greatly beneficial
