Office Supervisor
We are hiring for an established local business who are looking to welcome an Office Supervisor to their team in Maryport.This is an interesting role which offers plenty of variety and job satisfaction.The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who possesses a thorough attention to detail, strong communication skills and excellent organisational skills.
You should be proficient in Microsoft computer packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have previous supervisory / team leadership experience.Your new jobDaily running of the office.Ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of all admin work.Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.Supervising administration staff and overseeing their training.Assisting in the development of new services.Identifying and implementing workflows to improve office efficiency.Managing the flow of assessments and engagements relating to client certifications.Managing diary bookings.Managing invoicing, expenses and monthly reconciliation on Quickbooks.Maintaining records, workflows and templates within office database.Organising induction programmes for new employees.Assisting with the planning, scheduling, and promotion of meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.Planning and scheduling office outing in liaison with Office Manager.Managing office supplies replenishment and asset purchases.Represent the business and helping to raise the profile of services as opportunities arise.Contribute to news articles, web content and other information for publicity and to raise the profile of the company.Perform other duties that may be required from time to time.About youTeam Leader / Supervisor experience.Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skillsConfident, with the ability to work independently, and as part of a teamProven ability to use initiative and make effective decisionsAbility to prioritise work, manage time effectively and meet deadlinesOrganised, dedicated, highly motivated and reliableGCSE Grade C or 5 in English and MathsProficiency in Microsoft computer packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)Salary and benefitsSalary of £25,000 per year.Full time permanent position (37.5 hours per week).28 days holiday per year.Pension scheme.Free car parking.Blended working patterns.
